This is cocoberry, a sustainable and convenient way to wash your face.
We use sustainably sourced plant fibers to create a biodegradable package that is beautiful both inside and out, without any harsh chemicals or additives. We use materials that are all grown together, creating the opportunity for production to be done at a local scale.
In addition to the packaging, the materials within the circular economy were utilized for the soap berries themselves. Each berry is portioned allowing for single use, preventing waste of the actual wash.
To add to the convenience, CocoBerry can be purchased online through a subscription service that fits the lifestyle of each customer.

CocoBerry aims to work with small farms to cultivate sustainable crop practices and produce the raw materials that we need for our products.

We work with these farmers, and offer them new sources of income to produce the hand made paper bowls, right from the natural source.
THE goal
With these methods, we hope to provide the opportunity of a new industry to these cocoa farmers, and include them on the high-value production side of the cocoa business, instead of just being a producer.

These fibers, along with a natural cocoa dye, create a subtle yet beautiful dichotomy between the inner and outer papers.
The berries are contained within the sturdy plant fiber bowl, accessed through a lid that can be lifted off with ease. Located on the bottom of the bowl is a ring that prevents the product from making contact with the wet countertop underneath.
a face wash process created with "you" in mind
During your morning and nighttime routine, a cleansing face wash is important for overall skin health. Therefore, a simple process with healthy materials is necessary. The berry is easily crushed within the hand and the suds are activated by quickly rinsing it with water. The portioned amount is perfect for a single wash, allowing the user to forego wondering what the correct amount should be.
Each container’s contents will last for over two months, and users can even opt-in for a subscription service, ensuring that they never run out of their favorite face soap.
